Kevin Ross the founder of the Kings Rooted program has dedicated over 20 years to serving youth and the community, with a strong background in coaching both basketball and football. His commitment to developing young talent is exemplified by winning two Massachusetts state titles with programs for both young women and men. He has volunteered to serve incarcerated men with the Jericho Circle program, providing safe, vulnerable, and brace space for me to connect to their healing. Drawing on this extensive experience, he created Kings Rooted—a weekly 10-week group intervention program designed to engage young men ages 11-18. The program utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Theory, and group interventions to foster a non-judgmental, fun, safe, vulnerable, respectful, and challenging environment and challenging false masculinity.
